If you are exempt because you have obtained a work permit authorizing you to study under the temporary public policy for foreign workers (PIPT), please complete and upload this form.
We recommend that you start your application process at least 5 months before your documents expire. It takes 2 to 3 months to obtain a Certificat d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) and it takes a long time to renew a study permit. We recommend applying for your new CAQ at least 3 months before your current CAQ expires and that you always submit your application for a study permit before your current one expires.
